Program

Program name: IMD Insurance Agency insurance service messages, operated by IMD Insurance Agency LLC, 767 Broadway #1239, New York, NY 10003.

What we text: one-to-one service messages (SMS/MMS) about your own insurance quote, policy servicing, certificates of insurance, renewals, documents we need from you, and appointment or callback reminders. Messages come from your licensed agent at our business number. We do not send bulk advertising by text.

Opting in

You opt in by any of these methods: (1) checking the separate, unchecked SMS consent box on a form on this website or on our text updates page after reading the consent language; (2) giving verbal consent on a recorded phone call with our office; or (3) texting our number first. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any insurance product or service. You must be 18 or older and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number.

STOP, START, HELP

  • STOP — reply STOP (or END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT) to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation text and nothing further unless you opt back in. Opting out does not affect your insurance. You can also opt out by calling or emailing us.
  • START — reply START (or UNSTOP, YES) to opt back in after you have opted out.
  • HELP — reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us using the details below.

Frequency, rates & carriers

Message frequency varies with your interactions with us — typically a few messages per month during an active quote or service request. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan; IMD does not charge for text messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Major U.S. carriers are supported; availability may vary.

Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with, sold to, or used by any third party, affiliate, or lead generator. Messages are delivered through our messaging platform and its message-delivery provider, acting on our behalf. See our Privacy Policy.
